Leeds, United Kingdom
Based on experience
Lucky Duck is an award-winning UX/UI design and development agency who strategise, design, build, and grow apps, websites, and digital experiences for our clients.
Our head office is based in Leeds, and we have recently set-up a new office in London! We are a start-up team of six lovely people, who work with clients primarily in the United Kingdom and major European cities, and we have big plans to grow and go global over the coming year.
We've had great success in growing the business over the first two years of our inception, but we're just getting started on our journey.
To help fulfil our strategic plans, we're looking to grow our team in the coming months. We're looking for highly ambitious and driven people to come help us on our mission to work with amazing brands and build the best technology experiences, all the while having a great time doing it.
We're looking to bring a hard-working Studio Coordinator into our team, to help us get more organised, have smoother running projects, better manage the day to day operations, and keep both our customers and team happy.
We are looking for someone who is business-minded, organised and has a good understanding of both the technology industry and start-up world.
No previous agency experience is required, but is desirable, and you'll be provided with full training in a great environment to learn and develop your career.
This job would suit a graduate or someone wanting to start their career in technology and business. It is essential that whoever applies for the role is ambitious, proactive, and a self-starter, who can deal with a hectic start-up environment.
You should be comfortable and excited in working toward both our teams' and your individual targets autonomously. You'll also be equally happy 'getting your hands dirty' as you are working on the more exciting and varied parts of the job.
No task should be too big or too small for you, and you should be as comfortable working on planning a public workshop or helping create new internal HR policies as you are digging into CRM system managing incoming enquiries and staff calendars.
We understand that the scope for this role is pretty large, and we don't expect you to be an expert in all areas of the role. We just ask that you bring enthusiasm and work hard, and have an innate eagerness to learn about the areas you don't have existing experience in. With this, we'll do whatever we can to support you in your career development.
Your job is to support both the design and development teams, to keep projects on track, delight and excite clients, and keep the wider company organised and help it grow.
Your success will be measured by your ability to keep customer satisfaction high and timelines on track.
Your success will also be measured by showing month-on-month improvement in the areas listed above, which in turn will have a direct impact on helping our team reach our growth and long term goals - you will, of course, be guided and supported by your team to do this.
Finally, but perhaps most importantly…
Energising and delighting our customers, (current and potential,) is integral to everything we do here at Lucky Duck, and this should be apparent in the way you approach your work here.
You should constantly be thinking about how your efforts can surprise, delight, energise, and add value to our potential customers and you should use this value when deciding how to approach something and also as a motivation to think creatively in your role.
